Junior Art Director
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Art Direction Director to join our team to contribute to creative and visual concept development across film, music videos, advertising, and digital content.
This entry-level position is ideal for someone with foundational experience in video, conception and graphic design who is looking to further develop their career with an Video Art Direction Focus. You will work closely with our Directors as well as the internal team on various projects, from concept through pitch and production, developing strong narrative aesthetics and translating ideas into visual experiences.
DAILY TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct in-depth creative and visual research, exploring cinematic, artistic and cultural visual moods and references, not limited to film and photography, to support creative conception and visual development and its execution
- Design and prepare presentations and pitch decks supporting the Directors and Producers
- Handle light video editing, including reviewing, compiling, and refining footage for various projects.
- Create graphic design content and visual assets to support creative projects and general communications
- Shape the visual direction of COMMONVISION’s brand communication by providing art direction for social media, including the development and post preparation, new content creation, the curation and adaptation of existing assets, as well as developing merchandise and organising events
- Maintain strong awareness of cultural and current trends in art, photography, film, and design
- creation of stills and video content with AI tools, to produce professional, high-end visual assets
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Strong visual and cultural awareness and understanding of composition, layout, and storytelling
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects, Figma) and knowledge of graphic design
- Ability to translate concepts into clear and compelling visual presentations
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Highly motivated creative with a clear passion for film and visual aesthetics, looking to advance their career while delivering high-end, impactful projects
- Knowledge in animation and 3D Design is a plus
- Camera operation experience (photo and/or video) is a plus

Production Assistant
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Production Assistant to join our team. In this role you will support producers in planning and executing national and international film and photo productions from pre-production to on-set coordination and post-production.
You’ll manage logistics, research suppliers, and assist with budgets and key production documents to ensure smooth operations and high-quality execution. You will contribute to a positive, solutions-oriented production culture. It’s an excellent opportunity to further develop your experience and grow within a dynamic creative environment.
DAILY TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support producers in planning and executing national and international film productions
- Coordinate logistics including crew bookings, travel arrangements, equipment, location scouting , catering, as well as provide on-set support ensuring overall smooth production flow
- Conduct independent research on prices, suppliers, and locations
- Communicate with suppliers, crew, and partners to ensure smooth workflows and effective collaboration
- Prepare key production documents such as presentations, callsheet, crew lists, timings, travel itineraries, driving schedules, and tables
- Assist with production budgets, invoices, expense sheets and administrative tasks ensuring accurate financial tracking, as well as help maintain production schedules and ensure deadlines are met
- Support the post-production process by coordinating schedules, tracking timelines and deliverables, and ensuring smooth communication between teams.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- +2 years experience as a Production Assistant in a relevant commercial film production company, with an experience assisting on projects to a high standard, on schedule and within budget
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with confidence in collaborating and communicating effectively with stakeholders, as well as handling inquiries and correspondence via phone and email
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently under time pressure
- Solid understanding of production processes and set operations
- Career-driven professional who takes initiative, embraces responsibility, with attentive willingness to learn for industry dynamics and development of personal networks
- High proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace
- Business proficiency in English - both written and spoken (German is a plus)
- Car driver’s license with confidence in operating vans.

Intern: Videography & Edit
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Videographer / Editor Intern to support our team on film and photo productions. You’ll assist on set and BTS, edit and create visual assets, contribute to mood research and support the creative process from development to execution.
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience across both production and post-production, work closely with Directors and camera teams, and develop your creative and technical skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
DAILY TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Film, review, compile, and edit video footage including simple color grading for project assets, behind-the-scenes or pitch accompanying mood films
- Assist the camera team and Director on film sets
- Create visual content and assets for the communication of the company
- Research visual cinematic moods from various sources, not limited to films and photography
- Create layouts for treatments and Director Interpretations
- Read and review scripts in order to understand the Director's approach
- Occasionally provide the production team with production support during busy periods
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Current university enrollment, with mandatory internship (ideally 6 months) and eligibility to work in Germany
- Experience using professional video and camera equipment in-studio and on-location
- Experience with professional video editing (color grading skills is a plus)
- An exceptional sense for aesthetics and the ability to adapt to different visual styles along with a clear understanding of the COMMONVISION aesthetic
- High proficiency to use Mac-based Adobe software, such as Premiere Pro and After Effects
- A proactive, organized, strong communication skills and creative mindset with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)

As a PR & Marketing Intern, you’ll support the day-to-day marketing and communication, help manage our social media channels, assist in content creation, and contribute to event organization and community engagement activities.
DAILY TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support management of social media channels, newsletters, and other communication platforms
- Create regular marketing and PR content (photo, video), including event coverage and behind-the-scenes material
- Help plan and execute events and community activities
- Research trends and opportunities to support the development of brand awareness and messaging
